Flying into Rome Fiumicino, we’ll pick you up in a private car and transfer you to Formia/ Anzio. From here, you’ll take the hydrofoil over to Ponza, skimming the cerulean waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea as you journey towards your destination.
Stay overnight at Villa Il Gabbiano, a typical Ponzan villa with sweeping sea views.
Today’s itinerary takes you to Palmarola, Ponza’s sister island situated just a few kilometers to the west. You’ll set sail to the island with a local fisherman, fishing for urchins and limpets along the way. Lunch will be served on board.
In the evening, enjoy a passeggiata (promenading stroll) through Ponza’s Corso Pisacane before indulging over dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant Acqua Pazza.
Your third day is designed to help you acquaint yourself with Ponza, taking a rubber boat rid to Cala dell’Acqua and Chiaia di Luna. After a traditional lunch at Aniello Restaurant, you’ll enjoy a panoramic tour of the island, taking in its plethora of sublime panoramas.
For dinner, we’ve reserved you a table at the restaurant A di Casa di Assunta: a locally beloved establishment serving up delicious traditional fare.
Begin your day by joining a local chef and fisherman on a boat trip to Cala Fonte and Le Felci.
After visiting these paradisaical parts of Ponza’s rugged coastline, you’ll enjoy a lunch on-board prepared by your chef. Then you’ll return to the beautiful beach of Chiala di Luna where an aperitivo will later be served on the boat.
In the evening, linger over dinner at the shore-side restaurant Rifugio dei Naviganti.
Today’s itinerary centers around a nocturnal fishing trip: a must-do experience in Ponza. You’ll take to the waters with an experienced local fisherman who will use a lamp to illuminate the sparkling water beneath as he searches for your catch.
Spend the day leading up at the stunning Cala del Core beach, enjoying a lunch consisting of typical Ponzan dishes in a nearby trattoria.
After breakfast at the hotel, your transfer takes you back to the Italian mainland and then onwards to your airport of choice.
